Seltenes Mikroskop von Gundlach in Berlin, voll Messing, original zaponiert, ca. 1868. Höhe 29 cm, 2 nummerierte Okulare (I und II), 3 signierte und nummerierte Objektive (II, III und IV), Grobeinstellung, Feineinstellung hinten unter der Säule (sichelförmiges Stativunterteil); dieses Bauprinzip hat die Firma Seibert später fortgeführt; Kondensorhülse mit 3 Lochblenden; schöne Signatur auf dem Tubus "E. Gundlach"; mechanisch und optisch gut, Erhaltung gut bis sehr gut, sehr schöner Kasten mit der eingestanzten Nummer "811"; dieselbe Nummer befindet sich auf der originalen Vergrößerungstabelle. Aus dieser geht hervor, dass das Mikroskop noch alles Zubehör wie am Tag des Verkaufs besitzt!

Very rare compound microscope from Gundlach, Berlin; fully made of brass, original lacquered, hight 11,5 " ( 29 cm), 2 numbered oculars, 3 signed and numbered objectives, rack and pinion coarse focusing, fine focusing beneath the pillar; mechanical and optical very good, condition good (the microscope retains all its original lacquer, some minor spotting on the base,), mechanics work well, a rare instrument with all accessories in a beautiful fitted mahogany box numbered "811". E. Gundlach produced less than 1.000 microscopes; because of economic problems he sold his firm in 1872 and went to the USA; he worked some time Bausch & Lomb Rochester N. Y.
